Developing an ecommerce website for GCS Computers Pro was a challenging but rewarding project for our team at Code. One of the biggest challenges we faced was the huge amount of data items that the GCS store had. The store has a wide range of computer parts and peripherals, which meant that we had to find a way to effectively manage and display this large amount of data on the website. To address this challenge, we created an API that pulls the data from GCS's offline POS system. This allowed us to seamlessly integrate the online store with the offline system, making it easy for the store to manage their inventory and update prices and stock levels in real-time. Additionally, we also focused on creating a user-friendly interface for the website to make it easy for customers to navigate and find the products they need. We also implemented a variety of features such as search, filter and sorting options, and detailed product pages to help customers make informed decisions when purchasing. In summary, developing an ecommerce website for GCS Computers Pro was a challenging project but our team at Code was able to deliver a solution that effectively manages the huge amount of data items that GCS store has and seamlessly integrate it with the offline POS system, creating an easy to use and efficient website for customers.
