Developing a solution and a website for Phoenician Manning Agency was a challenging but meaningful project for our team at Code. The goal of the project was to help solve the shortage of work inside Lebanon and provide Lebanese people with a chance to discover the sea by providing them with job opportunities on ships. The solution includes a website and a backend that allows everything to be managed and tracked. The website was designed to be user-friendly and easy to navigate. It features a comprehensive search engine, which allows job seekers to filter and find jobs based on their qualifications and preferences. The website also includes detailed information about the job opportunities, including the required qualifications, salary, and other benefits. The backend of the solution is designed for the management of the agency. It includes features such as tracking of job applications, managing the database of job seekers, and handling communication with ship owners. This allows the agency to effectively manage the job opportunities and match qualified candidates with the appropriate job. The solution also includes a variety of features to help with the recruitment process such as online assessment, online interview and scheduling of face-to-face interview. The agency can also track the progress of the recruitment process and ensure that it runs smoothly.
