Using Unreal Engine to develop a virtual reality supermarket was a challenging but rewarding project for our team at Code. Unreal Engine is a powerful game engine that allows for the creation of highly realistic and interactive virtual environments. We leveraged the capabilities of the engine to create a virtual reality supermarket that provides users with a realistic and engaging shopping experience. The virtual supermarket was designed to mimic the layout and functionality of a real-world supermarket, complete with aisles, shelves, and products. The users can interact with the environment using VR controllers, allowing them to pick up and examine products, add items to their cart, and proceed to checkout. We also added realistic lighting, sounds, and animations to enhance the immersive experience. In addition to providing a realistic shopping experience, the virtual supermarket also offers a number of benefits such as reducing the need to physically visit a store, allowing people to shop from home and providing a safe and comfortable way to shop during the pandemic.
